Re-development of former WW2 bomb site situated in the heart of St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex. The site remained vacant from the original Victorian building’s destruction on the 7th October 1940 where nos. 4 – 5 Stockleigh road and the adjoining building where reduced to rubble.

The new development is situated over six floors with a central building core with twelve luxurious apartments. The site sits within a conservation area and the design was made to replicate the street scene of neighbouring properties.

Demolition of existing single storey building and replacement single storey extension to provide a new dance and music academy. The building is designed to blend into the surrounding landscape by the use of vertical timber external cladding with shadow gaps and flush mounted glazing.
